So, on friday i caught up with an old friend and during our conversation we started talking tech. He has a new internet venture that is similar to my future project here at spomato.com. His site is http://efieldhouse.com ... some sort of "mySpace" for professional athletes. I told him that i would spread the word and told him all about my project that is sports related but totally different than his project.
In exchanging links to our respective projects, i wrote him an email listing all the places that he could find me. Then i thought to myself "now that's a list for my blog"...
So, here is a list of all the places to find me:
here are some places you can find either me, or my work:

So this is my official blog. One that is completely administered by me, using drupal as my vehicle for deployment. I hope to learn a lot about myself in this exercise as well as increase my knowledge of blogging and of course web development. And now the the one million dollar question, why am I starting a blog?
While i have "blogged" a bit in the past on mySpace and last.fm, I have never had a real reason for sticking with it. MySpace blogs are just too ugly and i do not want to put people through torture of navigating the mine field that is mySpace. I also have a few posts on my last.fm page. the idea is to blog about music. okay. so i have posted a few times about some local shows i went to. while this was fun, it was work. the last few shows i went to, i did not want to work after going to them... i just wanted to enjoy them. so that's what i did. i went to them, enjoyed them, and remember them for what they were; great rock shows (besides Jewel, she may not have rocked, but was a fantastic show).
So why start a blog now?
I have a project. and if you are reading this, then most likely, you have found it. spomato.com is my project. it is for school, but may lead to bigger and better things in the future. this blog will be a place for me to post updates to spomato along with experiences from the project, rants, raves, news, thoughts, and sometimes any other random things that i may feel relevant... or not.
thanks for stopping by, please come back early and often to see what's going on in the world of spomato.com.
-thank you
